The name Namara is derived from the Irish “na mara,” meaning “of the sea.” In Irish culture, the sea symbolises navigation, resilience and depth, qualities that closely reflect our role as navigators of financial clarity and growth.

Our rebrand is a nod to our founder, Patrick McNamara, who took over the firm in 1950 and laid the foundations for what has become one of the leading independent business and financial advisory firms in the Midwest of Ireland.
