Maurice Lenihan FCA QFA, Managing Director

Maurice is a Chartered Accountant and Qualified Financial Advisor. He joined Namara in 2001 and was appointed director in 2003 and managing director in 2019. He is an experienced business and financial advisor and oversees the client accounting and business support services provided to clients operating in Ireland and Internationally.

Maurice also oversees the delivery of specialist advisory services including restructuring, sale of business, valuations, risk assurance services, forensic accounting and litigation support.

He works closely with Karl Daly on the delivery of financial planning and wealth management services to clients with a focus on ensuring that these are fully aligned with their personal and business goals.

Maurice is supported by a team of experienced and dedicated professional staff who are committed to delivering unrivalled levels of service and expertise to all our clients.

Karl Daly QFA FLIA, Director, Namara Financial

Karl is a Qualified Financial Advisor and Fellow of the Life Insurance Association.
He has amassed vast experience in the financial services sector, having previously held roles in Norwich Union (now Aviva) and Canada Life.

In 2000 he founded Karl Daly Pension and Investment and in 2013 co-founded a leading financial planning firm in his native Limerick. In 2019 he sold his stake in that business when he formed Humanli, a social impact firm to provide help to charities, community groups and others in need.

Karl joined Namara Financial in 2022 and heads up the provision of dynamic, client focused financial advisory services to clients.

The firm has now embedded a bespoke financial planning process, to help business owners and executives, together with their families, construct clear and detailed financial plans to manage their wealth as they progress in their lives and careers.

Karl and his team are focused on ensuring that our clients are provided with a holistic service and advice which maximises tax efficiency and is aligned with their business and personal financial goals.

Aileen Curley FCA CTC, Director

Aileen qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2011 and joined Namara in 2013 as an Audit Manager. In 2017, she qualified as a Chartered Tax Consultant as she recognised the need for her clients to have practical tax advice.

Aileen manages a portfolio of clients, including pharmacies, construction, retail, healthcare and hospitality sectors and provides outsourcing, business support and tax advisory services. She also has an in-depth knowledge of tax compliance and reporting obligations and liaises directly with Revenue in respect of aspect queries and revenue audits.

Aileen appreciates the need for up-to-date figures to be available to our clients at the click of a button and has significant experience using cloud-based accounting systems, including Xero, QBO, Brightbooks and Sage. Aileen works closely with her clients to ensure that their accounting systems deliver these real-time results – if there is a better way for your business to achieve this, she prides herself on sourcing and implementing the solution.

Sandra Ryan MIATI AIPA, Director

Sandra joined Namara in 2000 and was appointed director in 2025. Sandra is an award winning and dedicated payroll professional with over 25 years of experience. Her personable approach, technical knowledge and expertise reflect a passionate commitment to continuous professional development in payroll services.

Sandra has a proven ability to manage all payroll processes, lead a team of payroll professionals and successfully develop and implement new risk-reducing procedures and policies. She has extensive working knowledge of payroll software, having used a variety of payroll packages (Payslip, Pascal, MicrOpay Professional, PIMS & SIMS, CollSoft & BrightPay). Sandra has a comprehensive knowledge of payroll legislation and keeps abreast of legislative changes, including employment law, taxation and social welfare that may impact payroll and payroll reporting obligations.

Sandra manages a portfolio of local, national and international clients from construction, retail, hospitality, not for profit, professional services, contracting, medical and legal. Sandra has vast experience on long- and short-term payroll projects, some requiring her to be seconded to aid the payroll processing for several projects.

Sandra prides herself on her ability to collaborate with HR, finance and other relevant departments to ensure the timely and effective processing of payrolls on a weekly/fortnightly/monthly and bi-monthly basis.

Tony McCarthy FCCA, Associate Director

Tony joined Namara in 2014 and qualified in 2019. He worked on an extensive portfolio of clients during his training and gained experience working on statutory audit, including charities, pension funds and credit unions. He also worked on internal audit and risk advisory, and providing client accounting and financial reporting services to audit exempt clients.

In 2023, he joined a global trust company service provider based in Limerick as client accounting manager and managed a portfolio of International companies with operations in Ireland. He gained significant, hands-on experience working with Xero, NetSuite and Xledger to provide client accounting and financial reporting services.

Tony re-joined Namara in April 2025 as Associate Director and oversees the delivery of client accounting, financial reporting and business advisory services to a portfolio of local and international clients in the construction, retail, professional services, hospitality and healthcare sectors. He also oversees the delivery of audit services to a significant number of pension funds and housing associations.

Tony has a keen interest in the hospitality sector and works extensively with these clients to optimise operations and profitability.

Annmarie Lenihan FCCA, Client Accounting Manager

Annmarie trained with Namara and qualified in 2000. She oversees the provision of a range of client accounting and tax compliance services to a diverse portfolio of SME, Not for Profit and Social Enterprise Clients. This work is largely undertaken using cloud-based accounting systems. Annmarie also provides specialist advisory services to her clients, including virtual CFO, management reporting, budgeting and cashflow management.

She has amassed considerable experience working with the construction, professional services, veterinary, retail and distribution sectors and her practical and hands-on approach is highly valued by her clients. She also delivers a range of tax compliance and advisory services to directors, individuals and executors.

Laura Lonergan MIATI AIPA, Payroll Assistant Manager

Laura is an accounting technician and a member of the Irish Payroll Association (IPASS). She is a key member of our client accounting and payroll services team.

Laura currently leads the delivery of weekly and monthly payroll services for portfolio of clients and has amassed significant experience and knowledge of their day-to-day operations.

She has extensive working knowledge of payroll software, having used a variety of payroll packages and works mainly with Brightpay.

Laura covers all aspects of payroll and compliance including PAYE Exclusion Order applications, Real Time Tax Credits, Benefit in Kind, Enhanced Revenue Reporting and Auto Enrolment

Aoife Lynch FCCA, Senior Accountant

Aoife joined Namara in 2018 and qualified in 2022. She is a key member of our client accounting team and provides clients with accounting, tax compliance and financial reporting services. She also assists on Pension Fund and Housing Association audit and company secretarial services.

Anna O’Halloran QFA, Client Services Manager

Anna is a Qualified Financial Advisor and joined Namara in 2005 having previously spent 16 years with Standard Life.

Anna works closely with Karl Daly on all aspects of financial planning work for clients, liaising with clients and dealing directly with Insurance providers.

Anna oversees new business and ensures that all relevant documentation is completed accurately, provided to the life offices and that business is issued in a timely fashion.

She also manages and oversees all administration and relevant compliance for Namara Financial.
